Organic Sardine Paste Minerva
Pilchardus sardine caught in the Atlantic by the purse seine method. The sardine, queen of the fish in Portugal, travels in large schools of fish near the coast. The fishing occurs during the night, using nets that guarantee the sustainability of the ecosystem. The sardine is a “blue” fish that is easily identified by the silver of its scales.
The sardine is completely crushed, with the addition of all the ingredients, following a strict recipe, which goes from generation to generation of canned fish workers. The Minerva sardine pastes are unique in the market since they only have natural ingredients, fish and condiments from organic agriculture. The fish and ingredients are cooked and then canned at last.
Conservation, use and harmonization
Store in a cool, dry place. After opening, if not entirely consumed, the product must be kept in the fridge, up to 48 hours. Ideal to spread on bread or in toasts as the base for delicious appetizers.
