Spiced Tuna Paste Minerva
Striped or skipjack tuna, used in this paste, is found in tropical, subtropical and temperate waters in all oceans. They’re small tuna when compared with other species of the same family.
Minerva pastes recipe is a special one, different from many others you’ll find in the market. All ingredients are 100% natural, without any coloring or preservative. After the union of all ingredients, the tuna paste is canned and sterilized at 118º. The sterilization eliminates all bacteria and avoids the deterioration of the product, that is preserved for at least 4 years.
Conservation, use and harmonization
The Minerva pastes do not require refrigeration and are ready to be consumed. They should be stored in a dry place and, after opening, should be consumed in its entirety.
It must be consumed at room temperature, spread on bread or toasts.
