SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY AT APOVEIRA.PT

1.- SHIPPING POLICY

The transport of items purchased at apoveira.pt and which the User has selected as the home delivery method will be carried out through an external transport company.

SHIPPING COST

The delivery cost will be the one indicated by Poveira on the website at the time the User has entered the shipping data for his order and selected the delivery method. Putting aside this rule that prevails over any other indication of shipping costs for online orders from Poveira, the generic shipping costs (taxes included) are:

    1. Mainland Portugal: 3,95 €
    2. Mainland Spain: 5,95 €

The shipping cost may be free whenever it appears as such by indication of Poveira on the website at the time of proceeding with the payment, after the User has filled in the data and method of the delivery address. However, and apart from temporary promotions or advantages for certain Users that Poveira may establish on the website regarding shipping costs, these may be free as a general rule if the total order exceeds the following values (taxes included and considering only the value of products added to the shopping cart with applicable discounts):

  • Free shipping costs for home delivery:
    1. Mainland Portugal: 60 €
    2. Mainland Spain: 100 €

DELIVERY DEADLINE

Delivery times will generally be a maximum of 2 working days for shipments to the Iberian Peninsula or between 4-5 days for the rest. The deadlines indicated may vary depending on the specific circumstances of each order, such as the availability of the chosen product or the shipping area. In any case, in exceptional circumstances, the aforementioned period may be altered due to extraordinary incidences of the carrier or difficulties in the delivery of the goods. In these cases, the delivery period can be up to 7 working days.

To avoid incidents in the delivery (wrong directions, impossibility of finding someone at home, etc.), it is essential to correctly complete the corresponding form, and it is mandatory to fill in the option for contact telephone numbers.

The responsibility of Poveira is limited in cases of force majeure (strikes, adverse weather phenomena that impede normal traffic by land, sea or air,…). In these cases, orders will be delivered as soon as possible and the deadlines indicated above will not apply.

Delivery times depend on the time taken to manage the order and delivery, and may vary depending on the distribution network provided by the transport agencies in each region. Upon delivery, the Customer shall not make any payment.

The delivery deadlines for an order vary for each sale, and, under normal conditions, the minimum delivery deadline for an order placed through poveira.pt before 12:00 hours will be 1 day and a maximum of 7 days, depending on the type or class of product and the place of delivery.

Poveira offers the User the possibility of registering at poveira.pt, entering their identification and shipping data to speed up the process for subsequent purchases, it is only necessary to identify themselves and select one of the various shipping directions that can be stored, modify them, eliminate or introduce new ones.

Poveira assumes no responsibility for the consequences of possible delays in shipping.

Our carriers try to deliver up to 2 times in the direction provided by the customer, during working hours between 09:00 and 18:00. It is the customer’s responsibility to be present at the delivery address indicated in their purchase on apoveira.pt.

In case it is not possible to locate the recipient at the place indicated in the order, the carrier leaves a notice with a telephone so that it can reschedule the exact date, time and place of the second delivery attempt and, failing this, the delivery will take place on the next business day. If delivery is still not possible, the carrier will return the object to its origin and Poveira will refund the order amount, deducting the costs associated with the return.

 

2.- RETURN POLICY

Within the fourteen days following receipt of the order, the User may return it in accordance with the terms and conditions of contract that apply on this website.

Returns can have two reasons with their respective effects:

  • Mere withdrawal without justified reason by the User of the product or products purchased, in which case the expense of returning is at the customer’s responsibility.
  • Defective, in poor condition or wrongly shipped products. In this case, the return and/or replacement expenses will be at the responsibility of Poveira.

In any case, except in the bad condition of the products, they can only be returned unopened with the opening system intact and in their original packaging, unless they are defective due to some type of damage during shipment, together with a copy of the proof of purchase and the delivery note of the products within the volume, where, in addition, the returned products and the reason for the return must be marked.

 

PROCEDURE

  1. Send us an email to ola@apoveira.pt to inform us of your request and reasons for returning it and we will give you the appropriate instructions.
  2. You must return the products that are still unopened in their can, sending them directly to Fábrica de Preserves A Poveira, Industrial Park of Laúndos, Lote 46, 4570-311 Laúndos – Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal, as soon as possible, with a maximum period of 7 days from the date on which you inform us of the withdrawal or requesting Poveira to collect it directly in the direction indicated by the User, depending on what they jointly agree.
  3. Once the products have been received, the corresponding value will be returned in each case.
  4. In case of doubt about the return process, contact us by email ola@apoveira.pt or by calling Customer Service 00351 924470040.

If the User detects any product in bad condition after opening it, they must start the return process indicated above without opening more units of the same product, in order to return the remaining ones, and when the circumstance indicated by the User is resolved, Poveira will proceed with the reimbursement of the value of all returned units and the opened one.

The User will not be entitled to a refund of the price of returned products that are not done in the same conditions in which they were delivered or if the requirements set out in the General Contracting Conditions have not been met.

Poveira will handle the return order of the price through the same payment system chosen by the User for the purchase of the products.
